EMMA SASAI EDITING

ABOUT ME

I am a copywriter, an editor, and a big fan of anything to do with health and fitness.
On any given day, you might find me writing about:
How your gut holds the key to your overall health and wellbeing
The supersonic supplements that will enhance your energy levels, stamina and mental focus
Dietary and lifestyle habits that will help you achieve your full potential, making you into a super force to be reckoned with
The latest nutritional powerhouse ingredients to nourish your body, mind and soul
How self care is an essential, not an indulgence (yes, it really is!)
The best alternative medicine practices to manage your pain and stress, boost your metabolism, and put things back to the way they should be!
How to boost productivity, reduce stress, and increase happiness
Wellbeing in the workplace – whether it’s via flexible working opportunities, ways to boost productivity, and keep both employers and employees happy
… and a whole lot besides.
You will also find me:
Editing manuscripts – making your book the very best it can be. Remember: behind every great book is a great editor!
Sharing insights on how to structure a book that has been in your head for years – but you just haven’t managed to get it onto paper
Proofreading material, catching lingering mistakes, spotting inconsistencies, homing in on the nitty-gritty before your book is published

And when I am not doing any of the above, you will find me practising much of what I preach, which means:
I’m out running or cycling
I’m at the gym leaping around or attending a spinning class
I’m practising yoga to heal, replenish and relax – from the inside out
How did I get here?
My passion for health and fitness grew to its current lofty heights after I became a parent. On a quest to hold onto that all important ‘me time’, I started to wake up before the kids to go out for a quick run. It gave me the energy I needed to get through a busy day; it made me more productive and less likely to get cranky with those around me. I was never a sporty type at school, I enjoyed the odd swim when I was at uni, so it was a surprise to everyone, including myself, to find myself suddenly hooked! When my husband bought me a half marathon place for my 37th birthday, most of my friends worried I’d throw a wobbler... anything but – I was thrilled! Game on!
That was several years ago now, the kids are teens and so I have greater flexibility around my routine and the transition from being exercise-averse to health-centric is complete!
It’s now my identity and my purpose; it’s my passion, my sanity saver, and yes, I admit – my addiction!
